Our little heroine Sara is quite an ordinary girl, living in quite an ordinary house, until a new tenant shows up– and he is far from ordinary. He owns a very strange telescope, claiming he has fallen out of the ceiling and would love to get back up there somehow. He is not the only one who dwells there; entire unmapped lands stretch across the ceiling, whose fauna, flora and civilizations we know nothing about.
This book is special at first sight: everything that takes place on the ceiling is typeset upside down! The illustrations by painter and sculptor Mikuláš Podprocký, also playing with this idea, give the ceiling civilization its unique atmosphere. This book will have you turning your head in excitement.
